I have been fortunate enough to have been involved in vocal and instrumental performance my whole life. I hugely enjoy belonging to a diverse range of groups and ensembles across multiple genres.

I am currently the Principal Percussionist for the BBC Concert Band (for whom I have recently created an original composition – see Composition page). I also play drums for the ‘Shambles Big Band’ and my jazz quintet ‘Kings Jazz’.

I am a former member of Aylesbury Music Centre Brass Band and Dance Band. I am now part of the AMC alumni and perform in this capacity with the Nick Care Big Band.

I regularly accompany musical theatre productions on drums as part of the pit orchestra, and have played in shows such as The Sound of Music, Oliver, Annie, American Idiot and more.

I started as a treble in a church choir at age 7, and then joined the adult section of the choir as Lead Bass. We sang at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle and many cathedrals around the UK. I have also sung under the direction of Benjamin Goodson with the Lea Singers Chamber Choir, the highlight of which was a semi-staged performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion in St Alban’s Abbey, complete with professional soloists and period instrumentalists.

I am an active Musical and Choral Director and particularly enjoy working in musical theatre with a team of cast and musicians, teaching songs and harmonies for both existing works and original songs and conducting bands orchestras and choirs.
